No fine on the Ward hit ... uber-fines ON Steelers for other hits that were not nearly as bad, or flat out not illegal ... a pattern has clearly been established.

Why? And, more importantly, is R2 going to fight? From my all-knowing and all-seeing point of view (I'd use the word omniscient, but I can't spell it), this could be something that does serious and long-term harm to the Steelers. Is there no recourse?

All you need to know below, and consider that Ben's 4th game off was against a team he is 7-1 against in Pittsburgh.

It started in the off-season when he suspended BB for alleged poor behavior. Then as we played very physically to open up the season he made up new rules along the way to slow the Steelers down. He is also making it obvious by not fining those teams who choose to hit on the Steelers for some kind of payback he has in his twisted mind.

How can you openly state in a press conference that you are going to limit hits in the NFL and then aggressively make it a one-sided pursuit? I would have more repsect for the man if he just stated that he was going after the Steelers because they are too dominant when they play their style of football. It goes back to the "Mel Blount Rule", so it's not like it never happened before.

They guy has no balls or leadership skills. Anybody can be the class monitor and hand out arbitrary detentions.
