Surely they edited that out for broadcast. Its not a live show. Even if it was, there should have been a delay to erase such things.

I never laughed so hard. I had tears running down my face. The comments are epic.

My guess is that her and her girlfriends call Ben that name a lot off the air as a joke and she simply had a Freudian slip on the air or, at least, on tape.

Please...she obviously moved on to the word "called" before she finished saying his name, and stopped half-way through the mistake, before finishing his name.
It's still funny, but obviously unintended. One of my best friends is an ESPN anchor, so I'll have to shoot him the link. :D

Funny as heck. Though he deserves the nickname.

No kidding. I've seen this all over the net and I keep responding the same way. There's no doubt that's what happened.

pretty blatant if you ask me......she is a professional, so that is why I am suprised, if the meathead said it then it would not shock me...

Not sure on the called versus roeliscockberger. I can hear a clear 'ck' sound after roethliscaw, not an 'll'

My buddy just laughed at the notion that any of you would think it was done intentionally. Too much to lose. They talk trash or bust balls in code between each other, but they would never say anything so blatant on the air. Wise up gentlemen.

Who thought she did it on purpose?

I've listened to it several times and I just don't see how anyone of even reasonable intelligence can think that's what she really said. Or that they would even admit to thinking that.
It's clear she started to say "calling" before finishing saying "Roethlisberger" and went back to finish saying his name before continuing on.

x3. If it was a slip of the toungue, and an inside joke between ESPN staffers, one of the two would have at least cracked a smile. They both remain stone-faced. Plus, with everything Ben has been through, Roethliscock is really the best nickname they can come up with? Really?
