When you don't try to win, you won't win.

I don't see much of a difference between 1:15 and 1:55 on a short field where the middle
and the sidelines are pretty much given to the ravens. Should have attempted a pass there. :?

Would have Been Ballsy but it might have sent the wrong message to the Defense... but In hindsight I agree... on the flip-side you cant really blame Tomlin for playing it by the book. I recall a certain play a couple years ago that everyone blasted Tomlin for even though the play worked and we won the game.. Nevertheless we just got beat today.. This was a game that we needed a franchise Qb under Center to win and we didn't have one. end of story.

yeah because you want batch throwing out of the endzone especially since the o-line didnt pick up one blitz today. you put the game in the defenses hands which is what tomlin did. make no mistake with ben that 3rd and 10 would have been a pass. with batch you have to run the ball

They should have tried to throw on second down. Once they had 3rd and 10 they were done.

i would say the 2 penalties were the killer more than anything, for 2 reasons.
1. obvously field position, we could have had breathing room
2. and most important, sepulvada could have boomed a punt with room, instead, he only has 12 yards instead of the typical 15 yards to punt, had he been able to step up and boom a punt i think it is much different, and they get the ball on the other side of the 50....of course they had it on the 50 but we get a penalty to give them the 10 yds

He kicked it 50 yards from the endzone. That's plenty.

personally, I'm tired of QBs not named Ben playing for the Steelers.
welcome back Ben! :tt2
