Can anyone give me an idea of how it went?

How bad is Dixon's leg? Did he come back in the 2nd half?

How did the 2nd half go? (1st half obviously an unbelievable Steelers defense half).

Did Scott settle down?

I'm dying here, please help!!

Thanks!!

There's more but I can make a quick reply:

Dixon - left knee sprain, did not return in 2nd half. Don't know more than that. Batch played the rest of the game.

VY benched in the 3rd. Collins turned the ball over 2 times in first three possessions but did lead them to the TD toward the end of the game.

I'll leave others to fill in the rest. It was quite a heartstopper at the end!

Thanks, Columbus!!

2-0 Baby!!

We all said 2-2 would be fine ... now we've got at least that, and maybe more coming -

WOooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!

Edit: Reading stats ... 2 sacks by Harrison - awesome. I saw Timmons be a beast, and Wood with a pic, as well as Troy.

How bad is this D? OMG!

:tt1 :tt2

Looked like Dixon could have returned but no real fan who was actually watching the game wanted that - neither did the Steelers..

the defense was just as smothering in the 2nd half but the offense not giving them time to breathe late in the game cost us 7 points.

Stupid special teams play on the onside kick almost killed us...

this team almost made a goal line stance for the ages despite nothing really being on the line.. Troy made a heck of a play jumping over the line of Scrimmage and getting a sack.

Neither 1 of our starting corner backs know how to look back for the ball when they are behind the receiver.. that is going to come back and haunt us if we cant get it fixed. (No wonder they play off the receiver.)

The 2nd string D Line was just as effective as the first string D line..

Chris Hoke is an unbelievably reliable and consistent player, whenever Big Snack can't play we don't miss a beat with Hoke in there.

And we didn't miss Casey.

I remember a game or two where we didn't miss Troy either.

But to go the distance without him? Forget it.

Casey is a great fit for this DL and I'll be happy to have him back.

Didn't the Steelers play the majority of a year without Casey a few years back? I';ll be glad to have back, if for no other reason than to have depth. I think the Steelers could weather the storm a lot longer without Snack than Troy.

I could be wrong about Casey being out though.

Troy > Casey no doubt. Just making the point that you can win without starters but it's not something you want to attempt every week.

Yea, I knew that's what you were saying, but, I thought there was a season a few years back that Snack was injured and the Steelers won a lot with Hoke. I could be wrong.

I believe it was 2004 when Hampton got injured and Hoke started in his place the rest of the season. Interesting stat: the Steelers are 15-1 when Hoke starts in place of Hampton.
