...INJURY UPDATE: Tomlin said, “We have Bryant McFadden coming back this week, and he appears to be fine. We have some guys we held out of the last preseason game for bumps and bruises from the third preseason game – James Farrior, James Harrison, Antwaan Randle El. All of those guys are ready to go. We’re a healthy football team going into Week 1, which is a good thing.”

One of the things to watch for sure this season is whether the "old new guys" can do the job, or whether they're just a step too slow. Foote, ARE, BMac ... throw Farrior in there - can they keep up?

I hope Bmac is finally ready to go since he has been very underwhelming in the preseason. He is definitely going to get tested.

Foote was too slow when he left. Good at filling and your occasional blitzer, but watch out if he has to cover somebody. I am very disappointed that ARE was brought back. He's definitely lost a step and maybe his passion for the game (He was repeatedly criticized with the Skins for running sideways.). I am concerned about Farrior and BMac, but we'll see.

I wonder if they will have Ike shadowing Roddy all game, because he is by far their best WR. That would mean that BMac would cover Michael Jenkins. If you want to go even further, you could have William Gay on Harry Douglas and Keenan Lewis on Brian Finneran. Troy and/or Timmons would be charged with neutralizing Tony Gonzalez.
