Lacanfora just tweeted that ravens CB Dominique Foxworth tore his ACL and is done for the yr. Ouch. They can ill afford any injuries in the secondary.

Yeeeeesh. Whose left in that secondary now?

That'll really open up their defense. If they can't cover anyone, the pass rush will suffer and then the run defense will suffer...

They will still win the division. Tomlin was swept by the Bengals last year it's time for the Ravens to sweep us this year.

What difference does it make. The Ravens are wonderful. Mel Kiper loves them. They got Boldin so they just have to play things out but their ticket to the Super Bowl is already punched. Insert sarcasm here.

Remember two years ago when the media was falling all over themselves picking the Browns? How did that work out? The Ravens are no better than us and we will battle them and the Bengals until the last week of the season. Plus both the Ravens and Bengals have tougher schedules than we do.

I visit the Ratbird message board regularly (along with some of my brethren here at the Planet :D ), and they have been laughing it up the whole offseason about our misfortunes. I was just telling them last week that Karma's a b!tch and that injuries can strike at any time, so just keep laughing. It appears that Karma has reared it's ugly little head in Ratland.

Tomlin's Steelers are 14-5 against AFC north opponents over three seasons. I guess my cynicism isn't quite matching yours yet.
