I'm currently reading a book called -

The Draft: A Year Inside the NFL's Search for Talent

I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to improve their NFL I.Q.

Not only that but I think you'll appreciate all of the intricacies that revolve around the Agents / Players / College Coaches / GM's / NFL Head Coaches - it can be a little dry at times, however for those of you who are football starved in the summertime it's a worthwhile endeavor.

The book came out in 2006 - and it covers the 2005 draft - and covers a number of Pittsburgh Steelers - including Fred Gibson, Heath Miller, and James Farrior.

It offers a number of different perspectives, and walks you through most aspects of the NFL draft. I found it at the library for $1 - and what's interesting now is knowing what the future holds for a number of these players.

Just a head's up.

Just thought I'd bump this book one more time - there was a lot of insight about the draft, NFL agents, and G.M.'s that I hadn't been privvy too - it can be repetitive at times, but I found it very informative.
