What, no OLBs in the UDFA pool to sign? Colbert must be mad at someone for signing all the remaining OLBs.

Love the Black signing. He was undrafted because of a poor combine showing, but he was able to start 53 consecutive games for an SEC powerhouse like LSU, and offers positional flexibility with the ability to play RT or guard.

Does everyone named Cromartie have a hyphenated last name?

I can't believe that BG's Freddie Barnes ended up signing as a free agent. 155 rec. and 1770 yds in one season seems worthy of at least a 7th round pick.

I know Antonio Cromartie is a Tallahassee kid, and that Domonique Rodgers - Cromartie in Arizona is his cousin. Also know that my area has sent several kids out to UTEP. Is Dixon - Cromartie related to the other two?

Remember speculation amongst mock draft types that Ciron Black was a potential late 1st rounder after his junior year. Wow. What adifference a year makes.

Certainly hold some hope for Dixon, Black & Thompson making the 53 squad...others look like fodder.

How does Black go from sure-fire 1st round pick to undrafted?

Dixon could be sneaky good value...if the Steelers go with 4 RB's, Dixon could be up against Frank the Tank for a roster spot...Dwyer might make Summers expendable, giving Dixon a shot...decent pass catcher...

Thompson looks good in Worilds vid clips- plenty of upfield push. Could be one to watch at Training Camp...

Looks like the list has changed a little:

From PFT at 2:57 p.m. today

Steelers second-round pick Jason Worilds will be familiar with at least one of his new teammates when he reports for work.

The team signed defensive end Cordarrow Thompson as an undrafted free agent, giving them two members of Virginia Tech's defense. Thompson started all 13 games for the Hokies in 2009, finishing with 25 tackles and a half-sack.

The Steelers also signed a pair of players from Connecticut. Running back Andre Dixon and defensive end Lindsey Witten join three offensive linemen -- A.J. Trump of Miami, Dorian Brooks of James Madison and Ciron Black of LSU -- and UTEP safety Damon Cromartie-Smith as the team's undrafted signees.

No Daryll Clark, not a big deal. We added Dorian Brooks and Lindsey Witten, 6'4" 250 lbs. There you go Pappy, another DE who may be an OLB prospect...

Daryll Clark ended up signing with the Redskins which is fine with me because Clark would miss the ocean if he fell out of a boat.
