The guy is 4th - 5th round talent who would probably do better as a short yardage back then a QB...But give the guy credit he did and said all the right things and an idiot bought it hook, line and sinker (that Broncos intern college student/coach). Now Tebow is a 1st round pick!
Listen I like it that he stands for things and has great character and is obviously very smart, but he can't play football in the NFL as a QB!
Here's to you T....good luck on your below avg NFL career as a QB at best and then talks of you moving to H-Back.

To be fair a lot of people thought Sanchez was a 2nd-3rd round talent that went early in the 1st because of his personality.
He's done fairly well so far...

Sanchez can throw the ball...did you see Tebow at the Sr Bowl?

I agree. I thought it was a stupid move, but I have no problem with players that can sell themselves and have confidence in their abilities.
Tebow and Sanchez definitely sold teams on them. It wasn't the film that sold them...

Tebow can do what Sanchez did.. The Jets ran the ball 55 times a game and even ran on 3rd and 10 when behind by 10 points....
Any QB can be successful when he is protected by great D and running super heavy. Flacco made the AFC championship the year before Sanchez.
Denver will have to throw to make it out of the AFC West with Oakland's D and the Charges offense scoring points.
Sanchez has yet to prove he can throw well when he has to. Not knocking the guy but when he was unleashed halfway through the season he was horrible and thew a ton of picks.

His numbers throwing while in a heavy run oriented offense plus his overall success would not indicate a 4th or 5th round talent.
88 career TD passses, 16 INT's, 66.5 completion percentage, and a QB rating off 121.20
in 2007 he threw for an average 252 yards per game while playing one of the toughest schedules in college football.
If you want to hate him cool but at least get the facts right.

I think Josh McDaniel punched his ticket out of Denver if he agreed to draft Tebow.

I can't believe he went in the first round myself but he seems like a stand up kid, I wish nothing but the best for him unless he's playing Pittsburgh, then I want him to suck.

He has been successful on every level, and he will work his butt off to be the best he can be.
I wouldn't bet against him.

8 TD's and 5 INT's vs SEC opponents last year...
those are the facts too...
and McDaniels just bet the farm on him... it's a stupid move IMO because he has to play lights out now because they gave up 3 picks to get him.

Florida played a Cincy team who's HC bailed on them...
and Pitt put up 44 on Cinci...
but I guess it's whine and hate

All I have to say that this kid is arguably the most decorated collegiate player in Div. 1 history. He did this while playing in the SEC. and for most of you up here who are big time Big 10 enthusiasts... here's a little fact you might want to digest. Since the start of the BCS, 6 of the 12 National champions have come from the SEC. Also noteworthy, until the start of last season, the coaches with National Championships on their resume coaching in the SEC....
Urban Meyer, Florida
Phil Fulmer, Tennessee
Les Miles, LSU
Nick Saban, Alabama
Steve Spurrier, South Carolina
Bottom line ion my opinion, the SEC is the best conference with the stiffest competition and Tebow flourished. Theres something to be said about that.

Don't the Bronco's run a ton of plays out of the shotgun? And I seem to recall reading somewhere that the Bronco’s coach was enamored with the Florida-style offense; so may Tebow is a fit after all.

No doubt Tebow had a great SEC career... but plenty of Florida QB's have had great careers because Florida is one of the top 3 states in football recruiting.
I'm not knocking his college career but we have seen many college QB's with amazing college careers stink up the NFL... and we have seen Big Ben from Miami of Ohio beat the crap out of most NFL teams and win 2 rings.
I can't understand how Tebow's college career is proof.... if anything it's a warning for a terrible/tough/journeyman NFL career. I could see if he was out there throwing it around like Peyton but the kid is more like Dennis Dixon. Very talented when scrambling but as a passer? Not so much as of yet.
