Joe Webb, WR 6-3, 223 Alabama-Birmingham A quarterback in college, his size and speed make him an intriguing prospect

Maybe this could really help the team right now???...

PERSONAL: Born Nov. 14, 1986 at Birmingham, Ala. ... son of Wanda and Joseph Webb (divorced) ... major is criminal justice.

..anyways I had suggested a while back that the Steelers use a late round pick on PSU QB Daryl Clark and how I thought he could make the transition to WR.

If we have evidence that he can catch then maybe, just maybe take a flyer on him. We already have one receiver who can't catch. I don't want us to have a stable full.

I think the idea here is that it would be a developmental pick. Late round pick. Not someone they hope can come in right away and make catches. And for that I'd be ok with it.

I think Nolan Carroll could be the guy that visited that we could end up drafting.

Seems like he could be a fantastic gamble if he goes late in the draft.

We would never, ever bring in a WR who played QB in college!

This is another guy I've been championing (see below)...this guy is every bit as good as Tebow as a QB but faster. He has run routes & shown good hands, obviously he has some promise with Steelers' scouts (or those with ties to the team) keeping close watch. He could be like Summers was last year, where they basically baby-sat him all the way through the draft.
