I would love to see everyone's list of guys they would love to have and the guys they think will bust out of the league or don't fit our system/needs.

Thomas...my favorite of this upcoming talent...does everything well. Can play any position in the secondary.

Mays...4.43 40? Im not crazy about his coverage skills but the dude would be unstoppable around the LOS and could help us keep Troy healthy.

Odrick...the guy will be a beast at the next level. Pro Bowler by year 3.

Cody...I know I'm one of the few that like the guy...but I look past man boobs and look at the fact that Alabama had the best run D in the country. He made everyone around him look better. He will outweigh most NFL centers by 30-50 pounds. He won't rush the QB but he disrupts lanes and commands double teams. I don't care if he runs a 7.0 40...the guy is legit. He is the best run stop NT in the country.

Williams...another solid pick. I'm not sure we need a NT this high now with the Hampton signing but he is a solid pick.

Weatherspoon...I'm a fan...can do it all...tackling machine...good in coverage...think a better version of Timmons.

Jake Ballard TE...I think the Spaeth project is over. If you want the next Heath Miller...look no further than the most impressive TE you have never heard about.

Gerhart...I love this kid. He is the epitome of BnG. I really believe the Steelers will target him...if he is there in the third...we definitely take him.

Who I don't want

CJ Spiller...just shoot me and throw me off a bridge if we draft a back up running back with our first round pick. I would rather ish a razor blade than see his name pop up on my TV screen.

Iupati...Guard at 18? Hecks no...especially a guy who had to hold all game long when facing top notch talent. OG is the least important position on the football field and easiest to fill with later round talents. Taking Iupati would be a superb waste of a high draft pick.

Bruce Campbell= Jermaine Stephens...enough said about that.

Trent Williams...whats up with all the OT talk? We have Starks and Colon...I'm ok with that.

Guys I want:

Earl Thomas - only if he can play CB.

Joe Haden - bad 40 time.

Jared Odrick - Aaron Smith-clone?

T. Cody - not in the 1st; #1 3-4 NT.

Trent Williams - not in the 1st; if possible convert him to center.

Guys I don't want:

Taylor Mays - no free safety in the 1st round.

Weatherspoon, McClain - no LBs in the 1st! (Steelers Way: draft LBs in the lower rounds and develop them)

Bruce Campbell - looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane.

Dan Williams - see T. Cody

dont want

Dunlap... too skinney for us at 3-4 end// character issues

iupati... same reasons shawn says

Tate... hopefully these rumors are out of left field

LB washington... again, looks too thin to play on the inside of our 3-4

spoon- wouldn't hate the pick, think he's a better 4-3 OLB...already have one starting on the inside for us

A davis - 21 reps at 330 LBs, u kiddin me?? guys 100 LBs less then him are benching more.... didnt look fluid running and in drills

Want, mostly later round guys

angerer - later round guy, inside LB mentality, steeler mentality

micah - later round guy, strong stoudt guy, reminds me of earl holmes, dont care if he "cant jump high"

jacoby ford - fast as fcuk, 5th WR, dangerous returner (saves at least 2 roster spots) possible gunner on ST (saving a 3rd roster spot)...would then be able afford a kick off specialist dressed on gameday... minny spent a #1 pick for similiar player

Ghee. 6'0 and ran under 4.4. has the size we covet at CB

Kyle wilson - strong , fast, good ball skills....something our current CBs wish they had

tennant - got his weight up to 300, scored higest of the centers in drills, coming from good program (did pouncey work on stuff other then bench)

Thomas - ball hawk at FS, mayock says has the ability to play corner. either way, possibly can line up with a WR.... a FS version of carnell lake?? with better hands?

RO mcclain - no brainer

CB out of fresno, late rounder. ran 4.4 and vertical was 46 IIRC. very athletic guy to groom

We won't draft CJ Spust so I won't have to worry about it. But, I appreciate the offer. It's good to know you care.

Guys I want:

1st round

Earl Thomas
Ro McClain
Jared Odrick
Trent Williams

2-3
Chad Jones
Terrell Troup
Jerry Hughes
Koa Misi
Darryl Washington

4-5
David Reed

6-7
Vincent Rey
Nate Collins
Jim Dray
Sean Lissamore
Kelton Tindal

Guys I don't want

Taylor Mays-no way is he a pro FS. He is way too stiff in coverage. We don't need a SS in the 1st round.

Jamar Chaney-lot's folks put this guy in their mock. But, he does not fill the hole! He is late to get there in every game I've seen. Yes, he's fast. Yes, he's athletic. But, his instincts suck.

Bruce Campbell-He is not a willing run blocker.

Myron Rolle-has never been that good on the field.

Travis Ivey-Huge and a big whimp.

Micah Johnson-whiffs on smaller backs in space. Will be a liability vs the pass. Would be good if every team still ran between the tackles a lot. But, they don't.

He already on our team but here is a guy I no longer want, Tyrone Carter.

Thats funny fezz...can i throw in the obligatory Carey Davis as well? How about Stapleton...oh wait, he's already out the door. I guess that means we need a safety, fullback, and guard in this draft...unless Mundy, no one, and Urbik have secretly shown something.

Mays to backup Troy and ultimately be his replacement or
Thomas to replace Clark or
Weatherspoon to replace Farrior or
Williams to be backup snack and get dome reps or
Odrick to team with Hood to anchor the defensive line for the next 10 years

I don't want an offensive player until the third round and then a center or tackle. After that it doesn't matter to me, players after the third round are developmental projects for the most part (I realize there are exceptions).

Why would you be willing to draft a DE when we already have 3 capable ones but not a FS when we don't have a capable one on the roster?

Don't get me wrong, I'd take Odrick in the first. But, Earl Thomas would be unreal back there with Troy.

Players I want: Quality o-linemen and defensive players from all 3 levels of the defense...early and often.

Players I don't want: Offensive skill position players any earlier than day 3 of the draft (rounds 4-7).
