I have a SuperBowl Hat Question....?

First off, Congrats to the Saints for sticking it to the Colts and that Tool, Peyton
Manning. After the 2005 Divisional PO, that was almost stolen from us by Pete
Morelli, I've disliked the Colts ever since, even though the call that Morelli made
was not necessarily their fault.

Did anyone get the feeling that the Colts were playing at 1/2 speed? The pick 6 by
Porter, almost looked correographed by the WWE....Peyton stared down Wayne, and
then threw the ball in front of a "Dig" Route, and right into Porter's waiting hands.
To me, I'm abit skeptical about how the Colts LET the Saints have the game.

So back to my question....

The Saints SB 44 Hat is, TITS, compared to that of the Seahawk-Colored, joke-
of-a-Hat, that the Steelers received for SB 43.

Was the Color scheme for SB 43 Blue-Green? I'm pretty sure the SB Logo was.
And that is why the hat was Blue-Green....

The Color scheme for SB44 was Blue-Red, but I don't see any Blue or Red in
the Championship Hat.

I think the SteelerNation got ripped off!!!!!!

Sorry, JD, I didn't mean to make it look like I was busting on you, it's the friggin' NFL with color coordinated super bowls. Geesh! At the very minimum, don't make it Seahag colors!!

The Super Bowl hat design is going to be the same regardless of the winner. The words "Super Bowl Champion" are stitched directly onto the hat itself. The team logo is just a patch with a sticky back. It is simply stuck on the to front of the generic hat, not sewn onto the hat.

I have only worn last year's SB hat once, and that was in the store for a few seconds to make sure it fit. It sits all neglected, in my shrine.

Kind of like that fat chick who goes to each HS dance, but always stands by the.......

I wore the SBXL hat I bought in Detroit until all of the white parts became a nasty yellowish-brown mix of dried sweat and accumulated dirt. It ain't pretty anymore to most (except for me, of course...I think it is beautiful), but anyone can quickly tell that it is well worn, and was worn well.

My SBXLIII hat is in much better shape, because I only wore it for a few short months before replacing it with the Stanley Cup Champions hat that is on my head currently as I am typing this (the solid grey of this cap is much better looking than the blue and green in the XLIII cap).

Lots of them look bad ass...then you see them a few years later and you think, "I can't believe I thought that looked good at one time."

I don't wear hats so I really don't give a rip what they look like. :D

Holy $hit...great thread topic!!!

Anyone can ask my girlfriend...when Len Dawson was carrying the trophy to the podium and all the Saints players were trying to touch it, I looked at their hats and told her how pi$sed I was that we got that goofy a$s Seahawks Super Bowl hat, and the Saints got a sweet looking one. It basically made me turn off the Post Game show...I was so jealous.

They should have two designs for the super bowl hat. one for each team in their colors. doesn't that make sense? I didn't buy a 43 hat because I didn't want someone to think I was wearing a seahags hat.

Whom ever suggested having two hats was dead-on.... The SteelerNation
deserved a heck-of-lot-better than that SeaScag hat, and that is putting it
mildly!!!!!!!!!!!!

WTF was the NFL thinking....that the Steelers Fans were going to Swoop in for
a SB Hat that resembled a team that we had beaten in a SB three years earlier?
Was it the NFL's way of sticking it to the Steelers fans for a poorly ref'd game, that
the SeaSkanks should have won? The poor-little Seaskank fans....boo hoo!!!!

The SB 44 Hat is "Mind-Boggingly-Sweeter" than that of our SB 43, and it is a
down-right slap in the face...even though it's just a friggin hat!!!!

Has anyone found a better SB 43 hat online somewhere?
