Ray Rice is Ratbirds best player. Great run by him. O-line did a get a job on Wilfork.

Ben Haters needs to see this game....no blocking from O-line or no open WR can make a good QB look horrible...

If Big Ben was playing this game...

Big Ben needs to spend more time in room watching film...
Big Ben can't read defense like Marsha or Peyton
Big Ben need to throw the ball away

Rats should have challenged that punt play. They would have won it. Big time coaching mistake there. Those are potential game-changing plays.

I think it depends. Technically, it was not a reception. Is the rule the same for catching as it is for the play that happened?

It appeared to me that Pats player possessed the ball in the field of play. He lost it when once he hit the ground. Are there different rules for those circumstances?

The announcers were saying that the rule there for possession is the same as the rule for receivers. The ball slinged loose as the guy went out. That should have been challenged on principle alone. A huge play like that can inject life into your opponent. Law of the jungle. You don't want to give anything that makes your opponent believe they have a fighting chance.

Ah, I just heard the half-time crew confirm what the announcers said.

I think the Steelers played their best Defense when they were aggressive and attacking, and conversely their worst came out when they sat back and played conservative.

You know what I find funny! I like the fact that all the teams that laid down last week are getting pounded this week!!! No use in having momentum, as long as your rested, huh!!! Cincy got beat up pretty good and now New England is looking terrible as well!!! Look out Indy your next!!! Maybe some of these teams should consider not resting starters in the last couple weeks of the season after all!!! I just think its funny, you get what you deserve!!!

Not sure if resting or not resting players has an impact on games. Teams do what they fell is best.

Can you imagine how Steelers fans would react if Tomlin played Ben in a meaningless game before the playoffs and he got hurt? I don't think that would sit to well with fans. Just something to think about when bringing up this topic. There is a very good chance the Steelers will be in a position to rest players next season.

What did not sit well is that Ben late in games got hurt a couple of times this year - in games that should have been put away early, games we had leads, games that were given away in the 4th qtr and overtimes, games we should have been able to run the clock down with a lead but instead had to try to come back yet again to win by offense.

didn't he do that last year against cleveland? I believe we had #2 seed locked up by week 17 and tomlin played Ben who got hit for a concussion.

Brady must not have had all the answers. Now that they have been caught cheating, they're not so hot. As much as I hate the Ravens, I hate the Cheats worse.

I bet you there is a player on the Raiders and one on the Cheifs that are very happy the Cheats lost too. Vrabel and Seymour I believe they are.

I'm the same way... I don't like them.. but I like their D and run mentality. Plus I think our division doesn't get the respect it deserves because of the state of Ohio.

I want to be AFCN champs every year, but because the Steelers are that good, not because the division is bad. It really looks like Browns may be getting better. The Bengals will still be tough if healthy. The Steelers will have to be good to win the North next year.
