Steelers quarterbacks coach retires

Ken Anderson, the Steelers quarterbacks coach the past three seasons, has retired, coach Mike Tomlin said today.

It is the first assistant coach that Tomlin has lost in his three seasons as Steelers coach. Anderson, who played for the Cincinnati Bengals, is one of 25 semifinalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2010.

Kind of surprising. Why would you not want to coach one of the better QB's in the league
and take some credit for his success while doing so?

At the very least, his mustache should be.

True...but he's not a first-ballot mustache Hall of Famer.

And before you mention it, I don't know how Tom Selleck, Rollie Fingers, Ron Jeremy, John Oates, Wilford Brimley, Goose Gossage, Wade Boggs, Keith Hernandez, Don Mattingly, and Dave Wannstedt did not make it into that picture either.
