View Full Version : why stats don't matter

is it just me or does anyone else not really give a crap about some of the stats from our offense this year? I mean, I dig 4000 yards for Ben and a couple of 1000 yard receivers. it's cool that Mendy has his grand and Hines, Tone and Heath all have at least 70 catches.

none of that really seems important though with an 8-7 record. i mean it's nice - but if we miss the dance will anyone remember any of it?

wins and losses. the only stats that count.

Emptiest stats ever by a Steeler football team. As Archie Bunker would say, "Whoopteedo" I'll take last year's stat challenged team over this year's fantasy team all day, everyday. Stats suck, wins are cool.

Dan Marino was the stat master, he's not even in the top 10 quarterbacks I would want leading my team, because, by and large his teams underperformed or didn't win enough.
