View Full Version : Towel Dispenser Beware, Kick Returner Have No Fear Photoshop

It's been a rough week on the board after the second loss of the season to the Bengals. That even feels weird to type. And since I don't want yet another playcalling vs. execution "Fire Bruce Arians" thread, I think we all could use some comic relief.

And who better to give it to us that Jeff Reed.

He has crazy hair.

He gets liquored up and takes pictures with girls in bars.

He beats up paper towel dispensers.

He confronts police when teammates are unable to hold in their pee any longer.

He takes pictures of his nether regions with his cell phone in the mirror.

He gives kick returners a matador's "Ole!" on their way to the end zone.

He can't seem to get enough distance on his kickoffs (other than one miraculous touchback).

He shanked two field goals, costing us the game in Chicago.

He is a free agent after this year who already turned down an extension offer.

We can do some phonomenal photoshops with this guy as our subject. I know we can.

Here are some classic Reed photos to get you started (including a few action photos from actual games, but compared to everything else, those are boring)

Everytime I see JR with his "wacked out" hairdo, I think of the character "Weirdo" (aptly named) from the movie "Escape from New York."

He was the henchman for "the Duke" that was offed by "the Brain" while they were releasing the President.

I like Jeff Reed. Better to have a K that relates to the other players and is part of the team.

I hope the Rooneys give him an opportunity to sort himself out for another year. They often do, so we'll see. I'll defer to their management skills over some of the goofs on here who are ready to hang him.
I think they use the uncapped year to keep him another season. After that it will be up to Jeff to prove his skills remain and he is at least mostly sane. lol

I agree, I hope he stays. People focus too much on him not tackling. He's not paid to. There is one kicker on a team, if he goes throwing his body around and gets hurt, the whole team is screwed..... kicker to IR, someone else signed, someone else cut. The kicker shouldn't have to tackle, if he does, it's means others aren't doing the job they are PAID to do.

I appreciate both of your comments, and for the record, I agree with them. But if you want to make intelligent insights regarding our football team on this thread, you better also paste Reed's head onto something humorous.

At least you spelled skillz correctly. When referring to one's photoshopability, you should never use the word skills, only skillz.

That's exactly what I was thinking when I wrote it. BTW, Reed is such a character, except for putting Agent Zero's head over Reeds (strange choice), most of you photos don't even need photoshop. :Cheers

Just remembering past kickers, can you imagine having any of these guys tackling anyone?

Gary Anderson
Roy Gerela
Matt Bahr
Norm Johnson - OK Norm would get stuck in there occasionally when he wasn't hitting on cheerleaders on the sideline. He was my favorite kicker.
