The past two seasons they have been decent...what happened?

And Skippy had a chance to stop that...and redeem himself. He blew it.

No Andre Frazier, just like last week with the Cribbs return.

I bet if Harvin was a bottle of beer Reed would have grabbed him. Maybe he was thinking about the after game party.

Good point. Excellent point actually.

No Timmons on Special Teams either. The Harvin return was after he got dinged up.

Cutting Anthony Madison was a mistake in hindsight and keeping Ratliff on the team...we're struggling without him as well.

I'm running out of "excellent point" posts.

Hey, wasn't Frank the Tank a special teamer? :D :stirpot

Reed was in perfect position to make the play and completely wimped out. Sometimes the kicker has to be a football player and actually try to make a tackle. It is completely Reed's fault if he feels that he is never part of the coverage team.

Yeah you could see Reed on the bench after that play saying "It's my fault, it's my fault..."

At the very least, you have to dive at the guys legs. Even if it's a penalty, you have to at least try make a play there.

Tomlin isn't going to put up with this for much longer, he never does.

I suspect Reed is going to catch pure hell from the team and should
cringe at the film on this one.

He's not some wimpy little kicker. He's got some meat on his bones
and enough pads to throw the block. That was 100% unacceptable.

Mistakes happen...however, lack of effort in a situation like that is
totally pathetic. I was embarrassed watching that.

Yeah, yeah, I know, "tell us how you really feel!"...

So, who from our inactives will help bolster ST's?
today's inactives:
Steelers: LB Andre Frazier, WR Limas Sweed, OL Tony Hills, QB Dennis Dixon, OL Kraig Urbik, DT Ra'Shon Harris, CB Keenan Lewis, RB Carey Davis

Need Frazier in there.

I am wondering if Logan will continue to be active and returning kicks, of if they use MM, Santonio, or Wallace and add one more who can help on coverage ST's.

i remember when i played football i always got yelled at on special teams because I LEFT MY LANE...i know that these guys are professionals, but on that kickoff return they were all going afte the player and it showed by him going left to right with ease.....its more than that, but that is one of the problems..
