Brett Favre has made 275 consecutive starts. Four have been against the Steelers. Where they fit on the Favre continuum.

No. 1: Sept. 27, 1992, Lambeau Field ... Packers, 17-3 ... Starts in place of Don Majkowski and goes 14 of 19 for 210 yards and 2 TDs. And so begins not only the streak but the Favre legacy.

No. 61: Dec. 24, 1995, Lambeau Field ... Packers, 24-19 ... Throws for 301 yards and two TDs as the Packers clinch their first division title in 23 years while denying the Steelers the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs.

No. 102: Nov. 9, 1998, Three Rivers Stadium ... Steelers, 27-20 ... His only previous Pittsburgh visit was on "Monday Night Football." Steelers score on their first five possessions, harass Favre all night, then hold on.

No. 213: Nov. 6, 2005, Lambeau Field ... Steelers, 20-10 ... A Favre fumble results in a 77-yard return by Troy Polamalu. A Favre interception sets up a short touchdown run for Duce Staley.

I was at all of those games. :)

The first one was my first NFL game ever. Woodson had an awful, awful game.

For the second one I was going to wear a Black and Gold Santa suit and go as Steelers Claus but I couldn't find the materials in the right colors. :(

The third one was my one and only visit to TRS.

The last one was joy because we won (and because my guy returned that fumble for a TD) but disappointment because Ben didn't play.

Oh, and here's the dude in front of me (from the last one) who had beer spilled on his jacket from my terrible towel. Someone behind me put held their beer cup high when Troy scored and my towel hit it. I offered to have the jacket cleaned but the jerk instead preferred to be a jerk about it. His wife was totally embarrassed by him.

Still don't know why someone wore a Del Rio jersey to the game.

And this is me with aforementioned towel, after the game. :D

(that's a Kirkland, btw)
