I was there. First, and only, game at Three Rivers for me.

I'll never forget the Pittsburgh cabbie driving down a narrow street and looking at my buddy and me in the back (instead of where he was going), ranting at us about how Rod Woodson was Benedict Arnold!

Drank mucho Iron City that weekend. Many of them were free from a barkeep at a place up on Mt. Washington. He saw my ID and didn't believe that I was a Steelers fan from WI. Showed him the Steelers tat on my arm and drinks were on him all night!

It's possible...if I remember right the place had a deck or balcony that over looked the city.

The view was in fact grand and so were the free ICs! :D :D :D

Yeah, that's gotta be it. That's where we went for my brother's 21st birthday. Fortunately the bouncer that night didn't care that I used his college ID with no birthdate as he still let me in (c'mon, I WAS driving, so let the little brother tag along, right?) That's also the night we discovered that PA grocery stores don't sell ANY alcohol. Still not understanding that one, but oh well.

Anyway, I remember this game well. Went to a little bar somewhere in the Castle Shannon area with the guitar player in my band at the time (RIP, I still have to find out how he died) and his old man. Free food at halftime, good drinks, and a great Steelers win. Let's hope the results are the same today! :tt2

Was it the game that Favre was propelled a couple yards by #95, and left with concussed?
