Yes, I am home on my own computer and it is doing it here as well.

Noticed it at the end of the Steelers' game while on the chat.

As an aside, while driving home tonight, listened to the C-fans (on 1100 AM) whine about everything and esp DA, their coach, and Cribbs--whether he should be traded. They "are tired of waiting 10 years to get a team".

Just glad the Steelers won.

Yeah, it was really slow yesterday, and I got booted out of chat more times than my usual two. Seems to be fine this morning though.

"Firefox could not find page" just now.

And when it did find it, it loaded very slowly.

It is occaisonally slow... it may be the ad servers... sometimes they don't respond and are slow

You're probably right. My problems started when the 'Fan Vs. Fan' ad banner was added to the top of the page.

Yeah, I'm now slower than I realized. Now that you mentioned it, that banner did show up around the same time as I first noticed the slow down.....

Does seem to be moving slower. There was some maintenance being done on the ad server at one point but that was Saturday so this could be that after effects.

However, last night .. and even early this morning 8am .. this board was lightning quick. It really should have nothing to do with an ad unless the server is having problems.

yea mine seems to be at the level of derek anderson, slow at picking up the signal.....sorry that may of been a stretch.....tons of things i want to read and share but its going toooo slow, youll have that though, no big

Super slow since after the game last night, and its still slooooooooooooooooow. Might have to hit another board, 15-30 second page downloads and I'm on DSL. It's maddening.

I'm at work and not experiencing any problems at all. It's just like it usually is for me now. I haven't been on the site at home since last week though, since I left for Pittsburgh early Saturday morning and didn't get back until 1:00 a.m. last night. I accessed the site on my Palm phone once or twice from Pittsburgh, but the load times for that are usually painfully slow, so that didn't seem out of the ordinary to me.

I'm also at work and its fine. It was working fine from home yesterday as well, but that was during the game.

Thankfully my cool iris firefox add on helps though.

I got a response from J early this am and he said he'd look into it. He agrees with MeetJoe and thinks it's an ad server thing...I'll keep you posted if I hear anything. I only had one issue yesterday and since it's been good for me...I wonder what's up.

After reading your Firefox note, I'm just curious...are the people having problems using a particular browser? I'm using Internet Explorer both at home and at work and haven't had a problem in either place. Just curious if there might be a Mozilla thing at work or something...
