Not a lot of need for analysis here. Detroit is awful on defense, ranking 21st overall (20th run, 25th pass) so if Arians keeps his foot on the pedal we should tear them up by air AND by ground. The Lions are also very balanced, ranking 20th overall offensively (18th run, 17th pass). Stafford likely will not play so we could be seeing the long washed up Culpepper doing his best impression of a statue at QB. Should be a feast in the making for our D.

Seriously, this one should be over by half time.

Steelers - 42
Lions - 13

If we don't revert back to Turtle Ball, I say the score will be...

Steelers 35
Lions 7

Lions will not be able to run the ball, and with Daunte Can't-pepper in the game Detroits scoring chances will be low.

Since we've already had our trap games (hopefully), I'm optimistic here:

Lions- 0

lions 42....(all scored in the 4th quarter)

Fixed that for ya... :P :tt2

Steelers: 41

Limas should get opportunity in the second half of this one in relief of Santonio and let McDonald spell Ward.

Steelers win this one big! Detroit just doesn't have the horses or hogmollies to keep up in this one! Lions will fall down big early and the second half will be cruise control.

Steelers 52
Lions 7

I heard that Rush Limbaugh was going to buy the St. Louis Rams this week. Got a tip for his OC: Bruce "Conservative" Arians. What a perfect marriage!

Oh, back to the topic. The D starts getting their ball hawking back on track a week prior to the return of #43 and Mendy has a breakout day...could approach 200 yards. If allowed, Ben should also have a banner day. This one should be over by half time and if they take the game seriously enough early on, we should see Charlie behind the C for most of the second half and the whole team should get in on the fun.

Steelers win 62-17. Yep...I said it...62. Go Stillers!!!
