Enjoy it all week long JOM. Everyone, is picking the Bengals. But dont get a big head because Ive never seen Theismann or Sharpe pick the Steelers. BTW, Stlrz D, Im picking the Bengals to lose.

Will the Lions’ skid end? Our experts weigh in
Posted: September 23rd, 2009 | NFL.com Staff | Tags: Brian Baldinger, Detriot Lions, Joe Theismann, New York Jets, NFL Playbook show, Sterling Sharpe, Tennessee Titans, Washington Redskins

The Lions pushed the Redskins at Ford Field last year, so could the longest current losing skid in the NFL come to a close this week? Our analysts say no. Washington will keep Detroit searching for that first victory since 2007. In somewhat of a stunner, all three of our experts predict the Bengals will knock off the defending champion Steelers. Cincinnati has lost eight consecutive games to Pittsburgh at home, but that skid will end according to our prognosticators.

Another mild surprise was our experts’ picks in the Titans vs. Jets game. Rex Ryan’s crew could be walking into a “trap game” situation, but our crew is undaunted, unanimously picking New York to win. But it is hard to imagine Jeff Fisher’s crew — undefeated through the first 10 games last season — dropping to 0-3.

Here are the picks.

Those guys must have spent too much time in chat!

By the way DOS...you're out due to your Bears pick last week so you don't have to pick anymore. :D

Why would anyone get mad at these guys? We have "fans" who consistently point out all the faults of the team from coaching to player to the front office. Why is it wrong that media pundits have the same opinions and don't hesitate picking (hope) the Steelers to fail.

Its nice to see those three really go out on a limb and make choices that aren't all exactly the same.

a whopping 18.75% of the time.

Good...That is what they need. Steelers always play better when they are not at the front of the room.

well i guess 2 super bowls in 4 years and a last second loss to chicago in chicago make us a bad team now....oh well, it was fun when it lasted. the cowboys are the greatest gift to the world, lets all love them, to go 12 years without winning a playoff game shows how good they truly are...

That's just it, JTP . . .it's not a playoff game, so they should be picked to win. They seem to excell before November hits

Remember how bad we looked early last year (vs. Philly). Look where we ended up. I'm looking for that to happen again this year. I think that the boys send a statement in this game that this is the STEELERS division still.

Excellent point! And we don't look any near as bad as we did after last years Philly game.

:tt2

I don't get it: we lose a hard fought game on the road in a tough environment & now alot of people are picking the Bengals, THE F'IN BENGALS, to beat us.

Look at it this way, from a players perspective. If they lose to the Bengals, they are 3rd in the division and maybe tied with the Browns. Its an uphill climb from there. Naysayers will be out in flocks. Id think that in itself is pretty good motivation. This week will telll a lot!

Pretty shocked everyone is picking us. Our D and ST have been stellar but overall we're still sloppy (Penalties and turnovers). Can't win too many games raking up penalties and turning over the ball multiple times in games. Especially against the Steelers...

Have we all forgotten Ben has never lost a game in Ohio? What good are stats if we don't use them. We roll this week!
