The Steelers faced a tough conference opponent last week and got out with a W in OT.

The Bears faced a tough division opponent last week and had them on the ropes until the last few minutes...eventually taking the L back to Chicago. (For those who may not know, the L is a mass transit system in Chicago :D)

Both teams lost starters on D...the Steelers Polamalu for 3-6 weeks...the Bears Urlacher for the season. Timmons will likely be out after tweaking his ankle again in practice, but Fox filled in nicely for him against the Titans. The Bears will likely be without linebacker Pisa Tinoisamoa, and Tommie Harris is dinged up (limited participation in practice today).

Ben, for the most part, looked good against the Titans. Cutler, for the most part, looked awful against the Packers. QB play in this game, imo, will be key as both teams focus on stopping the run. The Steelers held the Titans to 86 yards rushing...the Bears held the Packers to 76 yards rushing. Pretty much a wash.

The Steelers ST coverage has much improved under the overpaid janitor's reign, and they'll have to be especially mindful of the electric Devin Hester. Likewise the Bears will have to concern themselves with the shifty Logan.

I believe both QBs will see their share of pressure, but Cutler will face the worst of it...and deal with it in poor fashion. Look for the Steelers to harass him all day to the tune of 3 sacks and a couple of turnovers (one fumble, one pick). The Steelers are 3 point road favorites...and they'll cover that with a 22 - 13 win. Yeah, I'm predicting a safety for one of those 3 sacks.

Steelers - 22
Bears - 13

Yes sir! :tt2

Running game gets on track this week for us and Cutler plays better for Chicago but it's still a defensive game.

The running game is once again non-existent, but BB pulls out another 4th quarter come back.

Clark breaks off Hester thanks to Cutlers throw.
James breaks off cutler.
and Parker breaks one to the house.

Steelers D will dominate Cutler and the Bears and Ben will do just enough to get the job done. I think Max and Willie are in for long days against those DE's from Chi-Town but the offense will improve in the running game and control the clock in the 2nd half!!! 2-0 will be a good start!!

I'm going to go with the Steelers keeping Da Bears outta Da Endzone. Not a shutout. But Cutler's calling card is a little thinner than the Bears bargained for and he's staring the #1 D in the NFL right in the face...Cutler blinks first.

Bears 6

I think I said 20-13 last week and was pretty darn close. I'm likely going with a similar score but since the probablility of them winning by the same exact score two weeks in a row is low, I will go with 24-10.

I think the Bears revert their offense back to last year's short dump offs to Matt Forte, much to the dismay of Cutler. However Cutler still tries to prove his worth and slings a couple of bad throws our way. We kind of get the running game on track seeing as they have some key injuries to their LB corps. Ben does his thing and I wouldn't be surprised to see Wallace sneak into the end zone with alot of coverage rolling to Santonio and Hines. Sweed being hurt might give Wallace a chance to shine in that 3 role.

thats another thing that kills me, im not too much into stats (they can be misleading) but i hate how you get an interception for a hail marry but if you throw an interception on a two point conversion it does not go against you (tom brady), that is bs, a interception is an interception,....

Put me down for Steelers 23, Bears 17.

Last week I called 17-10 Steelers.

Thanks Hines.

This week run game gets on track, and D plays solid in TP absence. Hell Carter even gets a pick.
