Just a note to the mods, but this is slightly OT. But I'd like you to keep this here for a couple days to get the thread a little attention. You may move it after that with my blessing and understanding.

Just had the most delightful exchange with a group of jaded Clowns sycophants over on Facebook. It started from my status posting after last night's win. For those who'd like to take a look, here's the link:

http://www.facebook.com/buckeyehoppy?v= ... 1115808428 (http://www.facebook.com/buckeyehoppy?v=feed&story_fbid=131115808428)

Long story short: The Clowns fan base is so pi$$ed off that their loser choice of pro football team sux so bad that they have nothing more to do than run off their dislike of any team that isn't the Clowns. The point being...they aren't so much Clowns fans as they are a group of f---ing haters.

For my $$$, I have NO TIME for hate of any sort. It wastes my time and I can't have that. This exchange just reinforces my allegiance to THE Steeler Nation...as if I really needed it anyway.

Take a few moments to take a look and weigh in. I'd like to see where the Nation really is on this. I come from a bit of a unique situation, since I live here in Cleveland and am a life-long resident to this point. I don't really have time for the B$ from Clowns fan, but my adventure on FB is a bit of an object lesson. Enjoy!

Also, after last night's game, the Clowns station (WKYC) in Cleveland had a good story on THE Steeler Nation in Cleveland and had lots of fan interviews, etc., yada...

It's a good thing to be part of a fan base here that comes away satisfied on Sundays.

Can't see your thread since we are not friends of yours on facebook.

And I wouldn't say every Steelers fan comes away satisfied on sundays. When we lose obviously, but even in victory there are some laborious negative threads on here.

There's a group on Facebook that I belong to called "F**k the Browns and F**k Cleveland" that you might want to consider becoming a member of just for fun. :brownssuck

I can't let myself go there NLP. Something I have been trying to do over the last few years is getting way from bashing the other team. To be honest, I could give a $hit about the Clowns. I didn't even bother to watch their game and I wouldn't unless they are playing the Steelers or unless I am really, really, really bored out of my f---ing skull...which doesn't really ever happen. I'd rather be here! :D

I think I put a link to my profile page on the stickied thread for following the Steelers on Facebook and MySpace. If you want to add me as a friend, just hit the link for that then send a message with the request (i.e. "Hi...it's Skyhawk" or something to that effect).

Hope that helps.
