And I never did see that hockey play before...what a dope. But the best part of that video by far was the fact that it was low quality video and when they panned to that chick in the crowd...I swore she was topless. I had to rewind it to make sure I wasn't seeing things.

I emailed the link for this thread to the Steve Czaban show on Fox Sports Radio. I got a response that they actually did a "famous tweets in sports history" segment because of it. The actual response was, "Thank you sir!! Did this Friday morning!"

Did anyone hear it?

I replied back asking if there was an archive of the audio because I didn't get to hear it (work) and if there is I'll post that info.

Here's Czabe's website...perhaps it's in a podcast??? http://www.czabe.com/

stlrz d
07-12-2009, 08:00 AM
Well I got the audio from the segment of the show where they mentioned this. Then didn't give it as much time as it needed though, so they only got a few texts on it. They did mention a few from the board though.

Later today I'll edit it down from 39 minutes (the whole last hour of the show) to the 4 or 5 minutes they spent on the topic. Then I'll upload it to savefile.com and post a link so peeps can download and listen.

stlrz d
07-12-2009, 07:16 PM
Dang...I can't get the audio to edit correctly. :HeadBanger

Anyway, they laughed at Snarky's two (Buckner and Vanderjagt), RB's about McNabb puking, the one about Joe Pa holding it until halftime and Najeh's college GF and her hamper.

Czabe (the host) also came up with - Dan Jansen: I've never slipped before...oh well, this next race is a lock...see you at the podium.

Then some texters sent in the following:

MHossa81: Losing sucks, I hope the Redwings make me an offer.

Jerome Bettis: Feelin' good about this coin flip Steelers Nation.

Roger Staubach: Yeah, easy TD. Jackie Smith you da...oh no....

Someone sent in Jeff Garcia's "got a screen, got a screen, etc" play call word for word...which was kind of dumb...the guy just wanted them to play the sound bite, which they did.

Like I said, they didn't spend much time on it but had they spent more I think it would have been a pretty funny topic. I'm sure there were plenty of good texts sent in that were never read. Oh well....

When I beat Mike Tyson and win the Championship Belt, I think I will also get some celebratory bling to wear around town, but a ring would be difficult to get on and off because of my disfigured, swollen knuckles. I think I'll go with a nice set of sparkling diamond earrings, because my beautiful ears aren't disfigured whatsoever."
