Yep, got me that keg of Bud Light getting cold to wash down those grilled hot links, all the while wishing that training camp would open 30 days sooner, right? :Cheers

What up everyone? I've been layin' low the past few months, trying to sort out this new regime in KC and get a handle on what's in store for the 2009 season. So far? Some good. Some bad. And some, make that a whole lot, of mystery.

I see the Steel is rightlfully the team to beat this season even though there are some saying the Patties with Brady back will be that team. I doubt that. Anyway, the Chiefs have a brutal schedule topped by having to play the entire NFC-East teams in consecutive weeks near the start of the season.

Realistically, I'm forecasting a best case 6 win season. BUT, we're all undefeated right now so enjoy the 4th!

Okay, Bud Light? :wft C'mon man, drink somethig a little better than Bud Light... :moon :P

I'd like to see the Chiefs really move forward in a positive direction and begin to take over that division. I'm not much of a fan of any other football team in the NFL, but, I've always liked the Chiefs, particularly going back to the 70s.

Have a safe and fun 4th (get some better beer first) and we'll see ya around the boards now and certainly once the season gets rolling again.

Thanks for dropping by, you're a good troll. :Bow

If you're drinking Keg quantities of beer, its best that the name ends with some variation of "light." Especially if its hot out...

The Big Man agrees.

Casey never ate or drank anything with "light" on the label.

Hey Pappy,

Why all the hating on light beer? :D I love me some draft beer, afterall, and that's about the best of the rest from my local supplier so Bud Light, is all right by me! 'Sides, ANY draft beer is better than the best out of the bottle or can by my low standards. Best beer I've ever drunk was Bass draft but it's hard to find.

Also want to acknowledge the Chief's street cred you alluded to in your post. I could have been, by example, a diehard Steel fan were I to have been born in Western PA, but alas, for me it was in KC and so it is.
