Tomlin to enter Boys & Girls Clubs Hall

Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin will be inducted into the Boys & Girls Clubs of America National Hall of Fame during its national conference.

Tomlin, a former Denbigh High and William and Mary player, is former member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Virginia Peninsula.

The induction ceremony will be at 6 p.m. Thursday May 14 at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta Hotel.

Other 2009 inductees include Grammy Award winners Usher Raymond IV and Ashanti Douglas, Radio One founder/CEO Cathy Hughes and businessman J. Barry Griswell.

Reitterates the fact that the organization hired the right man for the job. Gets results on AND off the field. Great work.

Saw Tomlin at the buccos game last night right behind home plate and at game 6 of the pens/caps series right near the glass. I like how he supports the other pro sports teams in the city.
