Two of these guys have us taking him in the first.

I think it is a real possiblity if he is there at 32. He would take over for Starks in 2010 which means the Steelers would be done with the Starks dance after this year.

There would be no problem here. Give him a year to learn the O and get stronger in his lower body. Solid pick in my opinion.

I think Beatty in the first would be quite a reach. Some regard him as a one year wonder. Along with the facts that he's not very strong, doesn't have much of a motor, is easily bull rushed as he doesn't anchor well and is pretty much a non factor in terms of run blocking. He's a "finesse" tackle whom also still even needs work in terms of technique.

Though to his credit,....he's a lifelong Steeler fan, but i still say "hell to the no" to him in the 1st.

I'm not crazy about an OT at 1.32, since, it won't be one of the elite ones.

Xactly. Trade back if we're taking a 2nd tier OT anyway. Or trade up if Oher happens to fall past the top 10-15 or if Mack lasts past the first 20-25
