Interesting that he retires at the same time as Brett Farve. Maybe he couldn't handle Brett not being around anymore.

Immaculate Reception B!tch! Think about that during your retirement days.

John Madden was seen sobbing uncontrollably when Brett Favre retired.

Frank Caliendo was seen sobbing uncontrollably when John Madden retired.

I'm just glad that I don't have to see those freaky eyebrows in HD anymore.

Funny that you mention that. Earlier I was looking through the photoshops on the board to see if your Madden with a Favre tat was on there but the Favre photohop contest isn't archived here. :(

Speaking of photoshopping, I'm back to Photodraw. Photo Explosion was weird with cutting out elements from an image. For example, I could cut out Madden's head to put it on Fat Bastard's body, but his head would have a square white background around it. I found no way to eliminate that. Unfortunately.

Anyway, I remembered that Photodraw is incompatible with newer versions of MS Office. Since I'm running Open Office (openoffice.org) on this laptop I reinstalled Photodraw and it's working fine! :Beer

Yeah. Open office is good stuff. Photodraw is good too. Although I still like MS Picture IT Premium. (didn't you say you could get that?)

Not that I recall, but I know Photodraw inside and out so I'm sticking with it.

As for Collinsworth, I like him and think he'll do a fine job.

NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA--The Audubon Center announced today that the woolybear caterpillar has been added to the endangered species list. Since NBC announced that John Madden is retiring, the woolybear caterpillar is losing its natural habitat, and scientists fear that woolybear caterpillars may go extinct entirely as soon as the start of the 2009 NFL football season.

"Madden's face always held one male and one female caterpillar, which could then mate and reproduce, allowing the species to continue to thrive," explained renowned entomologist Wendell Roelofs. "Without their natural Madden habitat, woolybear caterpillars will now turn to Joe Flacco, but his forehead can only accomodate one large caterpillar at a time, so we fear that the remaining woolybear caterpillars on Earth will no longer be able to mate, reproduce, and thrive. This may be the end for these beautiful creatures."

The NFL was committed to Hurricane Katrina relief in the wake of the devastation to the Louisiana Superdome and the surrounding community. Famous football broadcaster John Madden is taking things a step further. He wants to eradicate the devastating effects that Hurricane Carolina could have on TV ratings for the Stanley Cup playoffs. So he is retiring from the broadcast booth just in time for the start of hockey's playoff season in order to return to his role as a gritty center for the New Jersey Devils.
