Okay Fam,...in light of the facts that Hines isn't getting any younger, Sweed has yet to prove himself, and we lost "Hot Hands", (Though much like a guy breaking up with an ugly chick,..he wasn't much to lose. lol)......which prospects are you looking at in terms of WR this April ? Personally,..i feel Harvin would be an exceptional upgrade for us at receiver and in the return game,...but i feel he won't even fall into range to trade up for.

And with that said,...i've gotta go with Johnny Knox on the second day,....

Mike Thomas , Kevin Ogletree and Mike Wallace on the second day.

Love Brandon Tate. Really hope the guys knee is healthy in the next few months so he can contribute to some team this year. Gonna be a good one.....

I'd still rather they go with a veteran WR to compete with Sweed for the #3 job, like Ronald Curry. Then they can focus on the trenches and the secondary in the draft (using the pick that they might have used on a WR to trade up in the first or second to get a guy that we really want).

Hines has 2 years left, Holmes is entering his prime & Sweed was last years 2nd round pick & too early to give up on. You'll notice that all Chadman's picks are those short, tough, quick recievers that have a history of making plays for their college teams. All project as solid slot recievers- the one area the Steelers will need an upgrade in, someone that can work the middle of the field on short to medium routes.

Cosby is a heck of a player.

The best WR out there if he promises not to be an knucklehead is Plax if he doens't go to jail.

If you had to defend Plax, Sweed, Ward, Holmes, and Miller lining up as 5 wide, you'd be in trouble.

I actually think Sweed and Baker are going to be the #3 and #4 WRs and they will both eventually move up the depth charts.

I like them better than any draft prospects.

Burress could promise all he wants...but he's still a knucklehead. He had his shot here. It is rare that guys who aren't in danger of being put in prison get a second chance to come back to the Steelers (the only ones that I can think of in recent years are Willie Williams, Chad Brown, Orpheus Roye...and James Harrison). I think Plax has as much of a chance of signing with the Steelers as Mike Vick or Maurice Clarett (i.e. no chance).
