I know the versaility aspect of Unger is intriguing but I just don't see how you can pass up on Alex Mack for Unger, the closest thing to a "sure thing" in this years draft especially at the OL position.

Well Don Banks doesn't know what he is talking about. He projected Peria Jerry to the Broncos with the pick they got from the Bears to be a 3-4 NT. Jerry is a 4-3 DT only.

Because some folks have Mack ranked third behind both Unger and Wood.

Mack was more highly thought of two years ago than he is now by lots of folks who watch these players for a living. I like the Unger pick a lot.

The talent level of the pros must really be just that, talented men that are the best of the best.
If you think about the number of football players in the college ranks and all those college players being looked over by the scouts and to say that the first 10 picks are the cream of the crop and so above the others is just amazing.

Here we are with the last pick that doesn't seem to make anyone too pleased except the fact winning a Super Bowl earned us this spot.

I counted 5 or 6 offensive linemen that the mock draft has choosen and to think that there are so few talented linemen that possibly some of these number one picks may not even make a team.

Unger is very athletic and would make a great zone blocker. I don't want him for one simple reason. He is not really nasty or strong (comparatively). You need to be at least one of these to beat guys like Shaun Rogers, NGata, Jamaal Williams, etc.
