The Steelers and Arizona, who ended the 2008 season in the Super Bowl, will open the preseason at Heinz Field Aug. 13 at 8 p.m.

Buffalo also will pay a visit to Heinz Field in the preseason for a game that will be scheduled the weekend of Aug. 27-31.

The Steelers two road games in the preseason are at Washington Aug. 20-24, and at Carolina Sept. 3-4.

The NFL announced its entire preseason schedule today, but has not yet revealed the actual days or times for most games.

I can't believe we finally play Carolina in the 4th preseason game. I've been waiting for so long to see them play.

Seems like Washington and Carolina are yearly preseason staples. Arizona is kind of different though.

I start the War College in late July. Hopefully I can get to either the Washington or Carolina game. Don't see myself being able to attend a regular season game this year.

The team announced actual dates and times for the two home preseason games.

Thursday, Aug. 13 8 p.m. ARIZONA (broadcast nationally on ESPN)

Saturday, Aug. 29 7:30 p.m. BUFFALO (broadcast locally on KDKA-TV and FSN Pittsburgh)

The Buffalo game, being the third pre-season game, is typically the one in which the starters play a full half of football, and often into the third quarter. I wonder what Terrell Owens' excuse will be when we beat them in that game...Trent Edwards and Derek Schouman were secretly scheming plays behind T.O.'s back to exclude him?
