There was a conversation about Fu a couple months ago and someone mentioned
not being able to find a video of his touchdown to knock the stains out of the
playoffs. Well, I finally figured out how to edit videos and post them on youtube
so I give you BiffTnan's first youtube video.

Thanks Jiga. That is one of my all time favorite Steeler games. Besides being the reason we got rid of Kordell, this game is the other reason I can't dislike Maddox as much as most of you guys do.

100% in agreement...

loved that game, and will always be a TM fan because of it. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad he's gone- but for that one game- inphuckingcredible!!!!

It was earlier in the season against the stains that Kordell was yanked and Maddox
came in. I remember because that was my first game at Heinz and it went into
overtime. We blocked a stains field goal to save the day and then they blocked
one of ours on third down.

But because the ball never made it past the line of scrimage and we recovered, we
got a chance to kick again and won it. It was awesome walking all the way out of
the stadium chanting "Tommy, Tommy."

But yeah, that playoff game put the final nail in Kordells coffin in Pittsburgh. And
then we got Ben. :tt2 :tt2

Two things here:

1.) We ran a successful draw play and scored inside the 5. Yay. :Clap

2.) How about that offensive creativity on the 2 point conversion. :Clap

Question: Did we see much of that last season? -or any at all? :?:

Sweet Vid Jiga, thanks my man....

I can remember the Fu draw play like it was yesterday. The place went absolutely nuts. That may have been the first time that the stands shook beneath my feet so much that you could not help but bounce up and down. However, until seeing Mr. Tannen's second video, I completely forgot about Hines lining up under center for the 2 point conversation, then going in motion, the direct snap to Randle El, who threw it to Tuman to put us up by 3. Good stuff. Now I'll make like a tree and get outta here.

Hey jig,
That was the day Renegade was born into Steeler lore. Ever since that game, that song has had a new meaning to me!!!!!!!!! I'll never forget hugging my entire family and my dad looking at me and saying, "We are going to Tennessee...get the tickets any way you can." Sure enough, Monday after I got 4 and my mom, dad, wife, and I went to Nashville.

That game was on NFLN sometime last offseason, and the wife is pizzed that I won't delete it. :P Every once in a while, I go to the end, then rewigd about 30 minutes. I still don't know how we won that game, but the shushing of crowd anticipation when they snapped the ball, followed by that road when he scored gives me chills each time I watch it. Couple of comments . . .

1. Love hearing a high-pitched Peezy on the sideline microphone yelling, "That's a touchdown!"
2. I remember after watching that game and finally calming down after the TD thinking, "what in the hell is Tommy doing on the sideline?" Then seeing the trickery with Hines and El yea, and thinking, "what are you doing, no, no, no, YEAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!"
3. Just marveling on how calm guys like Maddox and Cowher were after scoring the TD.
4. The shot of Fu on the sideline looking up at the jumbtron . . .he was so intense, never took off his helmet, almost looked like he wasn't sure what to do.
5. I'm Still wondering, "How in the F did we win that game?"
6. And finally, we got jobbed in Tennessee. That freaken kicker-turned-actor.
