View Full Version : I wonder if Tomlin can call the offensive plays

BA had some flashes of acceptability throughout the season, for example the first quarter and a half of the Superbowl. But it seems clear that he has a hard time matching his calls to a) our skill set, and b) the opposing D's players for a full 60 minutes.

For example, that "Wild Cat" play in the Superbowl - the blocking was laughable, it just wasn't meant to be. Of course, it was no surprise that the Cardinal D had busted through our O line and had set up a bivouac in our backfield by the team FWP tried to make the corner.

Maybe Coach Tomlin can have all the plays run through him, and if BA starts going Turtle after the 1st quarter or 1st half, Tomlin can say "thanks, you can take a break now, Bruce"?

I think if it comes to that, where Tomlin needs to take control of the playcalling, then he should sack up and fire Arians.

Sounds like a good idea to me.

What part of the offense is Arians proud about ?
