Yes. Congratulations to the real America's team. The team with but 3 head coaches over the past 40 years. The team with outstanding ownership and deft drafting of their kind of players. The team about to establish an unprecedented record of SuperBowl excellence and a new precedent for winning their 6th.

All of us out here who aren't Steeler fans by birthright or upbringing because of being raised in other locales, know who America's team is and it ain't Dallas, ain't the Giants, ain't the 49ers.....no it's YOUR team and all us out here who aren't Steeler fans per se' salute you. :Beer

(By the way? Please remember the Hardliner's post this time because when the Steel plays the Chiefs in 2009, we'll have a different discussion. :nono :) :) )

Yeah...I never would have guessed that a guy who had the K.C. helmet as his avatar on the Trib board could have been a Chiefs fan!

The Steeler Nation runs STRONG, my friend. I was born and raised in Washington state and have absolutely no ties to Pennsylvania or Pittsburgh, but I have been a Steeler fan my entire life. I even flew all the way to Pittsburgh for my first game this year. It was friggin' awesome!! I felt like I had come home, even though I had never been there. I know, it sounds weird, but when you follow a team for over 30 years, you truly feel a part of it.

Where do you watch Steelers games?

I am also a non-pittsburgher from Indiana. A 30 years Steeler fan to the bone. Have been to 15 Steeler games in person including 5 in Pittsburgh.

15 in person? Holy crap! That is sweet. I've only seen them in person when they have come to Seattle. But going to see them in Pittsburgh was a complete different story. I hope to go now about every other year. Living in eastern Washington, I am a LONG way from any NFL city outside of Seattle.

Where in E Washington? I hope you have direct TV :)

I have been to the 1995 AFC championship in Pitt, the SD game this year, and three others back in the 90's in Pitt. Also went to the Colts game during the SB year in Indianapolis, 5 or 6 games in Cincinnati, one in Seattle, and one in Chicago and Memphis (titans).

Yakima. No, I don't have Direct TV, but I think that all but maybe 4 games were on tv over here this year. I didn't have the luxury of having every Sunday free to watch games until recently. It really sucks when they aren't on the local broadcast.
