I'll use the anti Steelers fans reasoning:

"Its not hard to do when you have Cleveland and Cincy in your division."

And that isn't far from the truth though...ha.

yeah but look at it this way. You have to beat a team 3 times that is good enough to lose two to you and still make the playoffs.

They also don't have Detroit, Oakland, Seattle, KC and until recently the Jets, Miami, Buffalo, Houston, Atlanta, Chicago, etc.

That is just a BS excuse to begrudge the Steelers the credit they deserve. Every Division has dog teams on a cyclic basis and the AFC North was competitive for a long time when the AFC East, AFC West, AFC South, NFC Central, NFC South and NFC West were all dogs and most of them still are.

We are also now 8-0 when playing against division rivals in the playoffs. 2-0 against the Ravens, 2-0 against the Browns, 1-0 against the Bengals, and 3-0 against the Houston Oilers back in the days of the AFC Central.
