For me, I think, tomorrow will have a "calm before the storm" type of feeling to it. I'm a drinker on the weekends, but I abstaining tomorrow so I'm not tired/hungover on Sunday.

My wife, mom, & I are going to see a matinee showing of "Paul Blart: Mall Cop". My wife works from 3-11pm, so I'm thinking of renting a few movies to watch in the evening and call it a night around 10pm. I'm sure I'll be up by 6:30 AM on gameday pacing the house nervously for the next 11 hours.

I don't recall being this nervous when we played Denver a few years back. Maybe because we are playing the hated Ravens has something to do with it.

Anyway, I'm interested in knowing what the other members of the Planet are doing tomorrow as they await the big day.....

It's my youngest boy's 9t birthday and I got him a .22 for his bday. We're going to pick it up and go shoot!!!

Then they go to a monster truck thing (barf) and I stay home and overly search the internet and network sports TV to find out how we do on Sunday.

You?

I'll be heading over to Napa with day with the wife and kids to get my mind off of things. I too drink a lot on the weekends and won't be doing any of that until Sunday. I paid the price last Sun and had a massive hangover for the game. Also going to pick up some Bose speakers for a home theater setup from their outlet on Sat. Volume needs to be pumped for the championship game!

Doing banking in the morning, then going to circuit city to see if their liquidation sale is actually worth anything. Then from there will probably go catch a movie with my fiancee. After that I will spend the rest of the day going crazy until game time sunday.

Hopefully they have a really cheap computer at circuit city, I have been wanting a new desktop for a while. Chances are slim to none though of me actually spending money though, I have gotten cheap as of late. I have this issue from my fiancee if I spend money :Blah :Blah

If I spend money on her though I get this :Boobs funny how that works

Sleeping. Trying to get over a bug that floored me last night and had me out of work today. Feeling fine now, but still tired.

If I'm up to it, may attend the Lake Erie Monsters v. Manitoba Moose game at Gundarea with drinks and Irish music at Flannery's afterward or a sci-fi film fest at Case Western with drinks and hippie music at the Barking Spider afterward.

Sleeping because I don't get off of work until 7AM tomorrow morning and have to work another 12 hours on Saturday night. This will help with the anxiety. I'm wearing my Steeler Scrubs...

and whether I'm in the ICU, the BirthCare unit or ER... nurses and/or physicians are screaming "Steeler's Suck" or "Good Luck!" I can't get away from the anxiety.... Not anxious about the outcome, because I think its not going to be as close as everyone thinks it will be, but rather anxious for the game to finally get here.

I think if you took the Clown fan, Bunghole fan, and Rattard fan, and put all three heads together, you have someone who almost has the IQ of Mickey Rooney in the movie "Bill".

Can't sleep here.......it's like Christmas morning......

It's getting close to time to put some pork and kebalsa in the slow cooker to get ready for the pregame festivities.....

I couldn't sleep either last night. I took a Tylenol PM around 12:30 AM & slept till 6:30AM. At 6:31 AM, I felt as if there was a marching band playing in my head.

:tt2

A few beers'll get that back under control....

I'm trying to decide when to start!! :Beer

Probably around kickoff of game #1.

I started.....

Put some beer in with the kraut early this morning and couldn't resist.....

WooooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !

Sounds tasty!! I just got back from having breakfast from a local diner in town. I ordered the Polish Sausage & Eggs because it just seemed like the Pittsburgh thing to order!!

So, last night our band played at a bar up here in the snowy cold north country upper midwest. While we were setting up our equipment, this old guy came walking in, wearing a leather Steelers jacket and Steelers cap. I went over to talk with him, told him I was from Pgh, the dude about wanted to hug me. The man said he came to this bar from another bar in town, where there was another guy wearing Steeler gear. The man said "We're everywhere, even up here".

The man said he was 64 years old, always lived up here, was a Vkings fan and loved the Purple People Eaters until Super Bowl IX and the Steel Curtain, has been a Steeler fan ever since. Said he has a Joe Greene jersey at home that he actually got signed by Joe Greene himself, doesn't wear it now because it is a valuable keepsake. Said the Vikings have lacked discipline ever since Bud Grant retired, but the Steelers have never lost it. He is looking forward to "one for the other thumb".

And so, we're playing "Riding With The King" and while I'm playing a bass riff the lead guitarist introduces our band, introduces me, and when he talked about the Steelers the crowd erupted in cheers. It was real cool.

I've seen Hiatt about a half a dozen times, maybe a few more.

Always high energy, always a great show, always lots of good humor and great stories. He clearly loves what he does.

Awesome. I can't wait to see the set list. Sounds like an "old guy" band which is aces in my book man! :D Us old cats know what music is all about! :P

I am anxious to see what Delbert you guys play. Delbert's very, very cool...just hope I get the chance to see him some day. He doesn't come around these parts. Neither does Elvin Bishop. Would love to see him someday too.
