Pennsylvania’s NFL teams -– the Pittsburgh Steelers and Philadelphia Eagles -– are two of the league’s top-run organizations. Both teams have positioned themselves incredibly well for the 2009 season in relation to the salary cap.
Here’s a look at the teams in Sunday’s games and where they stand for next season...
* Pittsburgh – Like their in-state neighbors, the Steelers are $20 million under next season’s salary cap with no significant contract issues. Pittsburgh will want to upgrade its offensive line if it can, but there’s no free agent on its team it can’t afford to lose.
