the Steelers effectively have allowed seven touchdowns for which their vaunted defenses had no culpability, three punt-return touchdowns, three more on interception returns, and ...

"Maurice Jones-Drew last year," remembered special-teams ace Gary Russell yesterday before practice.

We need the QB and ST to prevent this Sunday!

The good news...our ST coverage has improved dramatically since last season.

The bad news...our QB play has not. And last time Ben played following a concussion, he coughed up 4 picks, IIRC...hope we don't see a repeat of that this week.

That's not accurate since Ben only had one week to recover before that game this time he has 2. You would have to go to the second game that season to get a better prediciton post-concussion.

I'm kinda hoping the blow to the head has the same effect on Ben that it had to Eddie's daughter (Rubie Sue) in National Lampoon's Vacation, fell down a well eyes go crossed, gets kicked by a mule, eyes go straight again. Ben gets hit often this season, throws a bunch of INTs, gets hit by Willie M., Ben starts throwing TDs again. :D

that's a good article....

if we don't give up any big plays, we will win...bottom line...offensively, we have to run the ball and not make any big TO's...our defense has to play like they can and we will be fine

Yeah I agree, if we can just play good fundamental football on offense, and have our defense play lights out, like they're capable of, we should win.
