Well here's your answer: http://www.baltimoresun2.com/talk/showt ... p?t=178691 (http://www.baltimoresun2.com/talk/showthread.php?t=178691)

Never. :ratsuck

A tragedy that a pretty decent football team is wasted on fans like that.

I like how they make fun of Ben's "struggling to raise his thumb."

Anyone ever been bolted down to to a back board? Especially after having your bell rung? I never have... I hope to never be in that situation, but I'm just guessing mobility is at a premium.

The thing that kills me is that they want to be just like The Steelers so very very much. If they really want to see how much Flacco is like Big Ben, take away that running game/offensive line they have.

The Ravens are a good team right now, built for nasty playoff games, but to compare the two QBs? C'mon man... stop buying the crappy dope from the Barksdale gang and call up Prop Joe. He's got the hookup from the Greeks.

Nice "The Wire" reference!

Nice "The Wire" reference!

The Wire and crabs (the edible ocean going type) are about the only good things associated with Baltimore. And the last I checked, you can get crabs (again, the type that are good w/ beer and Old Bay) elsewhere.

Altho, I hear Baltimore's good for the other type of crabs as well.

Kind of funny that a "good" thing about Baltimore is a show based on real life events...that shows how bad the city is. :D

By the way, the idiocy continues this morning.

Sweet...I loved The Wire....they need to do a movie or something dangit!

Anyway, this was pretty funny...it made me kinda laugh...

Mike Utley, who was paralyzed from the chest down while being wheeled off, is known for the thumbs up with real meaning. Mike Utley should should go to Pissburgh and rip Ben's thumb off for embarrassing the "Thumbs Up" Legacy.

Does anybody think it's funny that the thread shows how Ben and Flacco have the same statistics yet one of them posts:

I guess anything you can do to detract from a subpar performance all year is what you gotta do.

He disses his own QB and doesn't even realize it. http://smileyjungle.com/smilies/confused8.gif

The Rats are delusional and will lose in the playoffs. Fracc ho is an aberation. He'll be another Anderson, ala their sister team in Cleveland. One season wonder, then down the toilet. Also, they better check that aging D before they declare themselves Super Bowl XLIV Champions.

...and :wft is up with that generic message board. :loser

Hey D, go post this picture there if you can. :ratsuck

Jooser - I choose my smack talking spots! :P

On the way home for lunch today I heard Doug Gotlieb say he thinks the Ravens will pull a "Browns" next season!

12-29-2008, 03:22 PM
LMAO! :tt2

12-29-2008, 04:30 PM
"Pulling a Browns" has been added to the lexicon of sports in the USA, that's funny right there and I don't care who ya are. :tt2

Pulling a Browns... :brownssuck

Haven't the Rats been alternating seasons - as I recall, they were 5 - 11 last year, 13 - 3 in '06 before the spectacular (and hilarious) home flameout against Peyton and Co., 6 - 10 in '05... it isn't much of a stretch to predict them going 6 - 10 next year.

Karma caught up to Bill Belichick (11 - 5 and staying home after the big SB XLII flameout)
Karma caught up to OJ, who now resides in the Clark County Jail
Maybe Ray Ray is next on the checklist... one murderer down, one to go... karma can be a b***h.

I'm looking forward to Flacco's "Sophmore Slump."

Now, if I remember Ben's "Sophmore Slump" correctly.....

The Gayven's have sucked so hard for so long I don't blame their fans for holding onto the single glimmer of hope they have.

I think it's great, and rather comical, that they can "crow" so loud for a .2 QB rating difference.

You Gayven fans can have that stat. Enjoy it. :D

I'll take this stat......The Flacco Years against the Steelers**......0-2.

**Or better known as Flaccid Flacco vs. Big Ben

12-30-2008, 10:40 AM
What's funny to me is that they are comparing him to Ben in a year that Ben has really struggled compared to some of his other past years' performances. Joe sucks.
