I guess this pretty much ends Marvel Smith's career as a Steelers. No way he gets anything other than vet minimum next year in free agency.
Should have happened weeks ago.

I do wonder why they took so long to pull the trigger. Optimism, I guess.
Now I would expect to for Capizzi to see some action in the second half this week (as well as Hills) and get ready.
I agree that unless Marvell signs for a vet min, he is done as a Steeler.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
The O-Line on MADDEN sucks already.
Smith is the highest rated O-Lineman on the Steelers and now they are going to be even worse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They better pump up STARKS rating to at least 85. The guy makes $7million, he should be at least a 95

Marvel was a good Steelers player for a long time. His body just gave out on him. Maybe the Bengals will pick him up to back up Levi Brown.

Yeah, Levi Brown is a Cardinals o-lineman (the one from Penn State).
Levi Jones is a Bengals o-lineman (the one Joey Porter punched in a casino).
