Just sayin.. we have won 1 AFCCG at home.. and we barely won that one...

Steelers and #1 seed is a bad combination.

Bill Cowher and the #1 seed were a bad combination. He works at CBS now.

I use to think that home field advantage was a must.
But 2005 changed that thinkin' for me.

Honestly the Colts and Ravens are sitting pretty at #5 & #6 ... the Colts just can't run into bad weather.

Doesn't matter how we get there. Let's just get there.

Anyone know who San Diego/Denver would play if they win their wild card game? Are they considered the #4 seed or the #6 seed after the wild card round of the playoffs?

SD/Denver winner is the #4 seed. They will get a visit from the Colts.

SD/Denver winner is the #4 seed. They will get a spanking from the Colts.

Fixed that for you.

I hope this doesn't happen. I hate the Colts more than any other team in the NFL. Peyton is not a good QB in the post season (he has a 6-7 record). Even the year they went to the SB he had a very un-Peytonlike QB rating in the post season. No matter who the Colts play, they can definitely lose. I have a feeling the Chargers are hitting their stride and will be a tough opponent for any team. If the Colts go to Denver, I will pray for a blizzard.

If you make the playoffs in the AFC you have a one in 6 chance of getting to the SB. Which seed do you think gets to the SB most often? Why wouldn't we want to play at home and take the easiest and statistically best shot at the SB? 8)

As a fan, I'd sure like to experience a home game victory in an AFC Championship game.

Now of course it be lovely to see the Steelers win an AFCCG at home... and it may happen this year.. but as the #1 seed it hasn't been good for us and we have actually played better this year on the road then at home.

i dont think it really matters #1 or #2 seed. i would bet everything that the steelers will not play the titans again. either one team or maybe both will be gone by the afcc game

I bet Najeh is upset that he is on the #5 seeded Colts right now instead of the #2 seeded Steelers.

Thanks...What a great audience...I'll be here all week...Try the veal...Don't forget to tip your waitresses.

I think it would've been good to get the number 1 seed if possible.
