Good. We deserve to be #1. Now lets smack #2 this Sunday and remove any doubt others may still have. 8)

More fun climbing to the top of the list then being at the top. Would have been nice to make the top of the list in the final week.

I wish we would have dropped.

I hate being on the top of some sportwriter's "list".

The only numbers that matter are #6 and XLIII

You want to be the best, then you have to beat the best. We have earned the #1 spot the hard way. The rest of the NFL can take their shot if they make the playoffs. 8)

I'd say this same thing if they were ranked from 2-32 also: Who cares?

Until the NFL goes to a BCS style voting system these rankings are just some crap to help keep lousy sportswriters employed.

The only #1 that matters is holding one finger up while hoisting the Lombardi in the other hand.

Agreed. I hate being at the top of the list. And I don't like having the #1 seed. Reminds me too much of the Cowher era and losing in the AFC championship numerous times.

Being number one in the power rankings will not mean much if the Steelers do not go on to win the SB. In any event, I used to follow the power rankings. Not so much anymore because it is usually based on that person's opinion. Win or lose, Steelers are number 1 in my power rankings every week.
