A lot of you may not care much about this, but I found it funny. When the Steelers played the Bills in preseason, a lot of my friends, who were Bills fans, said James Hardy was going to be the shiznet. Plus, I live in the city where Hardy played in high school, so there are a lot of his fans from then as well. But all the talk was about Hardy. He is out for the rest of the season with an injury, but let's look at his stats, shall we. 3 starts, 9 catches, 98 yards. I'm glad Karma caught up with Mr. Hardy, at least in his much ballyhoes rookie season anyway.

It's not good karma to bust on Hardy's 9 catch for 98 yard stat line when Limas Sweed has 6 catches for 64 yards so far.

I was on the "no way, jose" bandwagon and said it several times around these parts...

well played, sir, well played. But I believe that Hardy came out with much more Hype than Mr. Sweed, and for what it's worth, I'm not happy about Sweed either. But at least Mr. Sweed didn't beat on his girlfriend and father. oops, did I just type that?

12 Games, 8 Starts, 22 Catches, 273 Yards, No TDs. That was No-Catchico's rookie line.

Rookie WRs generally take time to adjust, and that seems especially true with bigger WRs. I'd give each of these guys some more time.

Oh, absolutely. I still think that Sweed was a steal where we got him and could be a stud for us once Hines hangs 'em up.

I still think Hardy is going to be a good receiver. I saw quite a bit of him in college, he's got the talent.

Yeah...like how I said I would not take Hardy until the third at best.
