Dream team?
The possibility of the Browns making Bill Cowher their coach and Marty Schottenheimer their general manager (or putting him in some sort of key front-office role) is beyond "intriguing," to use the word that Schottenheimer did to describe such a scenario during an interview on Sirius NFL Radio. It conceivably would give the Browns one of the greatest decision-making tandems in the league and a chance to make the sort of dramatic improvement that the Dolphins did from 2007 to this season.

I will lose all my respect for Cowher if He coaches the Browns

I heard on the radio this morning that Cowher purchased residence in a Cleveland suburb. Some guy Elliot in the morning or somehting like that was the host. I haven't heard anything since then or read it anywhere; so, take it for what it's worth.

Someone on here mentioned (when that was first reported) that Bill bought a house there for his brother. When you make the kind of money NFL head coaches make for as long as he coached, he could afford to do that for a sibling. Bill still lives in Carolina.

How long ago was it that Crennel and Savage was considered to be the dream team to take them over the top? A defensive coach under Belichick in New England and a personnel guru under Ozzie Newsome in Baltimore...what could go wrong?

And I reported that (when it was first reported and even now) the only Cowher
that owns a residence in the entire county of Cuyahoga, is registered to someone not
named Bill, and was purchased over two years ago.

Again, this is just a rumor unless Cowher is having trouble getting financing.

They might have arguments on game day regarding which play to run. Turtle-left or Turtle-right.

Perhaps they could co-author a book titled, Learn to choke like a pro: the ultimate losers guide to the AFC championship game.
