Steelers running game has moved more towards inside zone blocking runs over the past 2 seasons, this video gives a good view of the double team with the LG-C, and the center releasing(Mahan) to get a block at the second level on the LB.(scoop block)

Thought it was interesting that we've carried plays over in the running game from the Cowher era.

I thought we changed our style of blocking completely.

Sounds like maybe we haven't completely.

Although I do know we rarely see a FB.

Cowher had zone blocking plays in his playbook, he just didn't use them very often.
