Just saw it on ESPN live.

Stewart got 15 years + 12 to 72 months

Simpson got 15 years + 12 to 72 months

End of the saga. Sad for a former Superstar NFL RB.

Please don't make this into a referendum on the events 13 years ago. Just a sad commentary on a sad situation.

9 years? Damn.. why don't we punish child molesters and rapists like this?

He still can get out early. One, he will appeal, and two the parole board can let him out after 6 years. But he will do some time. Even 1 hour is not good.

For comparison's sake, Dan Rooney is currently 76 years old.

Wow that's a long time. His life sure did go downhill fast. In my lifetime I will remember exactly where I was when was in the Bronco and when he was acquitted...just sad to see a man have so much success in his life only to follow up with so much failure talk about peaks and valleys.

I had a long conversation/argument with a co-worker about this yesterday. Its pretty simple - if you think he was guilty of the double murder, then the guy deserves everything he gets. If you think he's innocent, then you have to feel sorry for him.

haha for an inmate oj has to be the madonna of celebrities they would want to sleep with. its about time the juice did some time. what a piece of garbage. does anyone remember when he got busted for selling ectasy about ten years ago? what a loser

As per ESPN O.J. will still be permitted to cast his annual Heisman Trophy vote from his jail cell which apparently he has already done at least one time in the past. Now how strange is that?

I don't know who's next, but if they remake The Longest Yard, you'd have:

QB - Michael Vick
RB - OJ Simpson
RB - Maurice Clarett
WR - Charles Rogers
WR - Rae Carruth
TE - Mark Chmura

There are others (Barret Robbins at Center), but I'm off to Church, get a Xmas tree, then watch the good guys smash the Cowpokes.
