Kordell was the QB.

I hope that I snap out of it.

Or Ben does.

We need good mojo this week. Ben will be fine. He needs to start practicing though. We beat Sd and everything will be ok.

I'd love to be sure that everything will be OK. I'm pretty sure they have the talent.

But yesterday needs to be THE LAST home loss of the season. The Steelers can't afford another. Not with the remaining roadies being with the Pats*, Rattards and Titans.

If we beat SD and after we beat Cincy, we will be 8-3. In the next 2 weeks, Balt. plays both the NYG & Philly -they can easily go 0-2 and be 6-5 heading into the last 5 games of the year.

If the above happens, all we have to do is take care of Baltimore when we play them again and & win just one of the other remaining games & the AFCN is ours.

I hear all of you.

But I am having a serious crisis of confidence in Ben.

And our injuries are mounting -- if Parker is gone (even though I am not a huge Parker fan), then I believe our outlook is luke warm.

Agree. Steelers 10-6 or 11-5 and winning the AFC North by 2 games.

This does hurt--I am still not over us losing. The one post about "take away 3 plays" is so true--We beat them, stopped Manning and still lost because of a fluke play and Bens 2 ints. It hurts cause this is the Giants game re-enacted--we had them beat also, but.......Willie is coming back, Woodley is coming back and you know if you feel bad about that loss the Steelers feel even worse and will come together thru all of this. Maybe this will be a blessing and they are determined not to let this happen again.

I'm an optimist generally... but with our poor play calling, all the injuries and now our field general playing like he did during the 2006 campaign. I just feel sick. I thought Ben might of learned from then that playing injured doesn't garnish you Lombardis but harsh criticism as well as wear and tear on the bodily tread. Still not over this loss. This was one we were suppose to win. F' it.

I just feel this impending doom. I hope something lifts me out of this funk.

We must be linked mentally... I am the same way. I ususally snap out of a loss after feeling bummmed/mad for a day... but I have that same feeling... can't shake it....

You want my advice?

(Of course you don't, wtf am I thinking? )

Aww, what the hey, I'm gonna give it to you anyways...

You need to adopt the same attitude you want our players
to have right now.

If you want them to be bummed out and feeling like the season
is lost, then have at it....

But, the reality is that the future is yet to be written.

You want them to be confident in their ability to create
winning scenarios and then believe in each other enough to
make it actually happen.

If that's how you want our players to feel, why would you really
want to allow yourself to feel any different?...

But...then again, I'm just a girl, whatthehelldoIknow? :Boobs

Man, I'm glad the players don't think like you two do. :P Relax guys. It's been a roller coaster of a season so far, we get up after a win, then down after a loss. Should/could we have beaten New York and Indy. Absolutely. Even though we would not have deserved it, we could have beaten Phily as well. If we handle our busines against San Diego and Cincy, we are in MUCH better shape. If we split the two, then we have a tough road ahead. Ben proved to the doom and gloomers aftre the misway point of the 06 season that he is very much capable of putting together an all-pro performance. He has been good much more often than he has been bad, so don;t just the ship on him just yet. Take my advice, drink heavily until Saturday night, sleep it off, and gear up for the 4 p.m. kickoff on Sunday. :P

Thanks for the advice, but only a win will get me out of it.... a decisive win, not a squeak by the seat of your pants kind, either. BTW, hears a direct link to your sig. This way you can download it or copy it to your desktop and always have it. My photobucket account has been altered.

Yeah, I guess I've been unusually gloomy and pissy this week too. I got the weekend off to rough start watching the damn Mountaineers blow their Big East hopes again by losing to Cincinnati. So, I thought I'd get back on track watching us slaughter the Dont's. Then the crappy game happened and all that pinned up frustration erupted in a post called 0 TDs///3 INTs. Might've read it by now. I've always like Big Ben and I still do, it's just hard to watch us piss away a lead like that. Remember when Bussie could close a game by running 8 minutes off the clock just running over people? Those were good times. :tt2

Any how, we gotta get back on track, there were so many of us (including me) who had their doubts the year we went to Detroit, so let's just leave it at this, Ya Gotta Believe!

I've got no room to preach, but let's get this back on track, we still CAN get number 6 this year. We've got a lights out defense and we just need to get Big Ben and the O rolling.
