We are a few weeks into the season now, and on the eve of the Steelers-Ravens clash, now is as good a time a any to think of what Chadman has seen this far this season...
and ponder the way of things...

1. The Buffalo Bills & Tennessee Titans are 4-0. 4-0!! Two unfashionable teams lead the AFC. The Ravens are 2-0. What does this say? Teams with a strong running game & strong defence are winning. No surprise really, but it's good to see some of the 'under the radar' teams doing well while the Colts & Patriots don't fare so well.

2. Steelers will go as far as the O-Line takes them. Chadman normally would put this in Ben's hands, but really, he'll do well so long as the front 5 can hold up. They don't even have to be 'good'- just servicable will do.

3. The Bills & Titans are unlikely to continue this strong throughout. Brady is gone. What does this mean? The Steelers are in a very good position to make a push for the #1 seed in the AFC- IF they do things right. They have the talent.

4. The Texans are an unlucky 0-3. They are not that bad. The Bengals though, are a lucky 0-4. They are dreadful. But don't worry, the Browns aren't much better.

5. Anyone still want to question Chadman's idea to draft Chris Johnson still? :-)

6. What happened to the Chargers D??

7. It's funny how there are teams that you just know are going to suck 9 times out of 10. The Browns. Enough said.

8. The NY Giants are 'quietly' undefeated. Watch out for Eli's mob.

9. Also going 'quietly' well are the Redskins. They could surprise.

10. 2 NFC teams that Chadman is watching closely are the Eagles & Cowboys. Either of them are big chances this season. In February Chadman would have said the Cowboys were the better team.....but the Eagles defence is good.

11. The more people promise change, the more some teams deliver the same rubbish year after year...the Lions, the Browns, the Bengals, the Cardinals...the Raiders...

12. Chadman guesses Michael Turner was ready to go his own way..

13. "The Wood" is good...so is James Harrison.

14. Ben averages 7.6 metres a pass, Palmer 5.7, Flacco 5.4 & Anderson 4.6. There's the difference between being a top class QB & being the QB of these poor teams.

15. You know what? JaMarcus Russell isn't a bad QB!

16. For all his average of 7.6 metres a pass, Ben has only completed 4 passes of 20 metres+. That puts him equal with Brian Griese, and marginally ahead of Derek Anderson, Tyler Thigpen & Joe Flacco. It's good that he's so consistant with his throws, but there is a distinct lack of big plays in the passing game.

17. Willie Parker is running well.....but....only averaging 4 yards a run & has only 1 play 20+ metres all season. Again, a lack of 'big plays' on the offence. Is Mendenhall a better option?

That's all for now..:-)

Isn't this the truth? Of course, I'd like to see Ben help himself and Arians help the o-line.

After the first week's blood bath and Jim Zorn being abused in the media he certainly has rebounded nicely with his team. He may not be the idiot that the idiot writers think he is. :P

Can you do the conversion to yards please. :moon

Some consistency last weekend would have been a welcomed sight!

Not yet...

Far more likely it says the Rats have played the Bungles and the Clowns.

Stupid bloody metric system.....any time you see 'metres' just assume it's yards..
