Chadman,

Haven't you got word down under that the season is over after the Philly game? We are going to get crushed on Monday night. Ben will be sacked 22 times. The running game will be non-existent. The defense won't be able to stop anyone. The coaches don't have a clue because they don't read this message board. We have little to no hope of making the play offs.

I would suggest a day at the beach versus watching the upcoming disaster.

Win or lose Monday night the world does not come to an end. SN--I agree with you lets have some perspective. The season is long and we will see more good than bad. That is the Steeler way.

You guys are right. How can you write the season off after the 3rd game? Especially when you won the first 2!! We've had our azzes kicked before and probably will again. So what? We can bitch and moan all we want about our coaches but guess what? They are professionals and they don't like losing even more than we don't like the team losing. There was a reason that Tomlin was chewing Arians a new one after the game. They will make changes but I don't expect, or even want them to announce what they are to the world. Why give the Ravens any notice? I'll start worrying if we reach 7 losses and even then I think 9-7 can win this division. If you make the playoffs you have a chance and that's all we can ask for.

I'm sticking with my 10-6 prediction. Win the North and start all over in the play offs.

I call this:

"The Decapitation of McNair's career".

Nobody knows this but that hit is the real reason he retired. He didn't want to face this beast again. He still wakes up in cold sweats. And rumor has it that Troy Smith "developed" a tonsil infection 5 weeks ago just to avoid this game. Flacco's dumb a$$ didn't know any better. What a dummy.

Great post! Can't kill the season, there's no way! How soon we forget the dead zones in the offseason.

Go Steelers!

We won a conference game at home, won a division game on the road, and lost a non-conference game on the road to a team that seems to be a consensus top 3 pick in most power rankings, and we were only down by 6 points in the 4th quarter.

It's not like we won a conference game at home, won a division game on the road, and then lost a home game 38-13 to a division rival that was 1-15 last year.
